As a healthcare provider, yoga instructor and veteran, I was beyond exited to find a training similar to TRY. This training opened my eyes to new ways to teach yoga, how to be more trauma sensitive in my regular studio classes, and how to incorporate these principles in the health care setting. Now I am working with an exceptional group of elementary kids and it is so rewarding to watch them begin to develop self regulation tools.
All of these people work extremely hard to foster and promote “whole person” physical mental and emotional wellness. The healthier we are the more we can be of service to others.
I went to the 20 hour t.r.y yoga workshop. It was amazing and when your done you are touched in a special way and changed. Joyce and Darwin are incredible instructors. I feel blessed to have had such an incredible experience . Thank you
TRY provides individuals who experienced trauma a safe environment to release emotional pain. The TRY method is a positive, non threatening mind body connection helping individuals regain the courage and strength to face life and thrive.
After the Route 91 shooting, I was called to the T. R. Y. Training as a way of helping my friend who was there, as well as others who are suffering in this chaotic world. While in training, I was brought face to face with my own trauma, reinforcing the empathy and compassion that I feel towards humans in pain. And really, isn’t that most of us? I love teaching the TRY method, and love being a part of something that is changing the world, one person at a time.
This class in TRY was one of the best classes I’ve taken ever!!
Such caring and giving teachers.
Would definitely recommend to everyone I know.
