Thank you to Trauma Center at Justice Resource Center for this comprehensive list of resources. Please visit their website for further information and resources.

The following provides information and resources for first responders (Police, Fire, EMS) and others who may be involved in “critical incidents” and other traumatic events. They give general information about trauma, referral sources and practical strategies for dealing with typical reactions to atypical events. These resources were produced with funding from the Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance (MOVA), under a federal Anti-Terrorism Supplemental Grant (ATSG), to aid Victims of and Responders to the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks. While developed specifically for first responders, several of these resources are likely to be of benefit to other individuals impacted by traumatic incidents, including victims, their loved ones, caregivers, and service providers.
